Through our two programs, we realize our mission. These programs \u2014 Books for Babies<\/strong> and Books for Kids<\/strong> \u2014 <\/em>are our engine, and donors and other supporters are our fuel. Together they have enabled us to reach\u00a0over a million children and their families.<\/span><\/p>

In this program, we deliver free Literacy Packets to mothers of all newborns. (Each packet has: new book for newborn; literacy guide for parents; reply card to be in our Follow-Up that gives more free books; info on CHET Baby Scholars.)<\/p>\n

Also in the hospitals, volunteers visit with mothers to talk about early childhood literacy and Literacy Packet contents.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner gap=\u00bb10″][vc_column_inner width=\u00bb1\/2″][vc_column_text css=\u00bb.vc_custom_1458555553764{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}\u00bb]\n
